For over 25 years, my passion has been connecting and communicating with parents, grandparents, nannies...and their babies from birth through five years old. Guiding both the children and adults during my sessions provides me with great joy and pride. To be present for the beautiful moment when a mom hears her child speak a word they have never spoken before is an inspiring and exhilarating shared experience.
Watching the looks of pure awe and joy from the families when they see their baby making those connections is what continues to drive my passion for helping other babies bloom.
As babies bloom...families blossom.
My specialized speech and language programs are designed specifically for children from birth through five years old. Through my years of experience, I have discovered that teaching those who spend the most time with a baby such as parents, grandparents, nannies... to be able to integrate my proactive strategies into their natural daily activities is the most valuable way to help a baby bloom.
My therapy experiences have inspired me to create my company, BABY BLOOMING MOMENTS™. I am passionate about coaching my proactive strategies to individuals or in group settings to help others learn how to help their babies bloom.
In addition to my private practice entitled, tot2talk, in Santa Monica, California, I work with families in private homes, with children at the Therapeutic Preschool established by Providence St. John's Health Center, online through teletherapy services, with the Regional Center which is a state funded therapy program for children birth through three years old and I have worked closely with very young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I have been interviewed on numerous podcasts, written various articles which have appeared in a variety of publications and have published a children's book about helping babies and toddlers wean from a pacifier entitled, All Done Binky!.
Ryan, my adult-aged son, was the inspiration for my baby blooming journey and he continues to prove that my proactive strategies really do help babies bloom! When I am not working with children, I enjoy yoga and hiking with my Australian Shepherd, Shelby.
